MEET THE MUSICIANS
BRANDON BARNES
Since moving to Nashville in 2013, Brandon has been an in-demand drummer and percussionist, performing both live on stage as well as in the studio. Brandon holds a bachelor's degree in music performance from Carnegie Mellon University. His training allows him to creatively blend and adept between styles such as Country, Rock, Americana, Soul, Blues, Swing, and beyond. Brandon's Ability to accommodate the genre at hand makes him versatile in a wide array of musical demands. He is a true expert in the studio, with a deep knowledge of how the drums will be heard under the mike.
DAVE AUSTIN
Dave Austin began his performing career where he grew up, in Houston, TX. After playing in different groups in the Texas area, he moved to Boston, Massachusetts to attend Berklee College of Music. Since graduating, Austin has shared stages with the likes of Willie Nelson, Kris Kristofferson, Annie Lenox, Dee White, Brandon Lay, Shelby Lee Lowe, Josh Melton, Chapel Hart, Paul Mcdonald, and many other established artists. In addition to performing live Austin has a long list of session work as a player and as a producer, including several works on a major VST playlists.
TIM MCDONALD
Tim McDonald is a Nashville session pianist and Hammond B-3 artist. He has played on thousands of demos and master projects. Tim has also toured as pianist for Blake Shelton, Olivia Newton John, Hank Williams Jr. and currently rock and roll legend Rick Derringer.
JEFF HYMAN
Jeff Hyman is a multi-instrumentalist, composer, producer, and teacher in Nashville. Hailing from Boston, MA and an alumni of Berklee College of Music, Jeff’s playing has been featured on music in the Five Points Recording catalogue from 2017 to today. As you bring your writing to life, Jeff will provide you with groovy bass lines, intricate accompaniment, and a thoughtful approach to your arrangement.
JUSTIN MILLER
Justin holds a degree in film scoring from Berklee College of Music, and has won awards in international film scoring competitions, including East West Quantum Leap's Film Scoring competition. Justin has had film placements and numerous other sync placements. In the 7 years since FPR was founded, Justin has produced and mixed a vast amount of albums and singles in all genres. Tracks produced by Justin have appeared on The Voice, Hallmark, Best Cover Ever, Redbull, countless radio stations across the US, the ACMs, etc.
